A Kent based Medical Device company are currently on the lookout for a Senior Product Design Engineer to join their design team and take ownership of new product development.
Senior Product Design Engineer
Due to the team being small and working on multiple projects, the successful candidate will be a self-starter and willing to go beyond the job description to successfully deliver projects.
My client is also looking for someone who can take ownership of the product CAD design (in Solidworks), striking a balance between the aesthetics and functionality of product design. Therefore, having high attention to detail and a passion in making beautiful product designs is essential
Skills overview:
- 5+ years knowledge in CAD Design
- Proficient in Solidworks
- Formal development experience in Medical Devices or equivalent (ISO9001 / ISO1345)
- Ability and willingness to take ownership of design
- Aesthetics focused Product Design
My client also use Duro PLM and Cognidox, so any exposure using these software’s are beneficial.
