Procurement Manager:

Salary: £35,000

Outskirts of Maidstone

Monday- Friday 8am-4pm ( no weekends )

This opportunity for a Procurement Manager will play a vital role in overseeing the procurement process for various products and projects.

In this role, you'll manage purchase orders, ensuring sufficient warehouse space before stock is ordered. You'll also work closely with suppliers and manage the expenditure plan for ongoing and future projects, ensuring cash flow is well managed and products aren't overstocked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan accurate and timely orders
  • Maintain an detailed procurement schedule while keeping on track of order status.
  • Collaborating with the operations team ensuring product dispatch is on time.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
  • Order processing and securing the best deals.
  • Regularly evaluate supplier performance and address any issues.
  • Stock management- avoid overstocking.
  • Inventory control and logging precisely.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.
  • Prepare financial reports and procurement cash flow forecasts.
  • Collaborating with the finance team ensuring timely supplier payments.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience using SAGE.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and organisation.
  • Proven experience in procurement and inventory management.
