Overview:
Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Senior Planning & Logistics Coordinator to join an established and leading environmental services company who operate nationwide.
As the Senior Planning & Logistics Coordinator, you will be tasked with coordinating vehicle upkeep, managing customer interactions, and organizing tanker scheduling. A core responsibility is to oversee the service and maintenance timelines for the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are compliant, road-safe, and in optimal working condition.
What do I need?
- Knowledge of transport and environmental regulations
- Valid driving licence
- Strong understanding of maintenance schedules and compliance
- CPC in management, or other relevant qualification
Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize regular servicing, MOTs, and repair work for all tankers.
- Communicate with customers to arrange planned works while delivering a high standard of service and professionalism.
- Oversee and document vehicle maintenance activities, including MOTs, servicing, and repairs for both tanker and support fleets.
- Ensure all vehicle servicing complies with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with drivers, garages, and external vendors to reduce vehicle downtime.
- Daily and weekly routes as well as work schedules for tanker drivers to maximize operational effectiveness.
- Perform administrative responsibilities in a timely and precise manner to help contribute to overall team efficiency.
The following is desirable:
- Relevant tanker environmental regulation experience
- Waste / Water management experience
- Planning and logistic software
