Overview:

Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Senior Planning & Logistics Coordinator to join an established and leading environmental services company who operate nationwide.

As the Senior Planning & Logistics Coordinator, you will be tasked with coordinating vehicle upkeep, managing customer interactions, and organizing tanker scheduling. A core responsibility is to oversee the service and maintenance timelines for the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are compliant, road-safe, and in optimal working condition.

What do I need?

  • Knowledge of transport and environmental regulations
  • Valid driving licence
  • Strong understanding of maintenance schedules and compliance
  • CPC in management, or other relevant qualification

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize regular servicing, MOTs, and repair work for all tankers.
  • Communicate with customers to arrange planned works while delivering a high standard of service and professionalism.
  • Oversee and document vehicle maintenance activities, including MOTs, servicing, and repairs for both tanker and support fleets.
  • Ensure all vehicle servicing complies with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with drivers, garages, and external vendors to reduce vehicle downtime.
  • Daily and weekly routes as well as work schedules for tanker drivers to maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities in a timely and precise manner to help contribute to overall team efficiency.

The following is desirable:

  • Relevant tanker environmental regulation experience
  • Waste / Water management experience
  • Planning and logistic software
