About the Role:
We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Building Services team. You'll lead mechanical design on a variety of projects across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading mechanical design from concept through to completion
- Managing client relationships and mentoring junior engineers
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, architects, and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with UK regulations and sustainability standards
- Using industry tools (e.g. Hevacomp, Revit MEP, IES) to develop and review detailed designs
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 6-8 years' experience within UK building services
- Chartered or working towards chartership (CIBSE/IMechE)
- Strong knowledge of current UK building regulations
- Confident communicator with leadership capability
What You'll Get:
