This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the production of industry-leading solutions.Position OverviewAs an Assembly Fitter, you will play a crucial role in building and producing quality products for customers and dealers. You will ensure that the methods used to complete a product are lean, efficient, and safe, contributing to the company's mission of developing environmentally conscious, performance-focused solutions.ResponsibilitiesFit and assemble fabricated parts or subassembliesSet up hydraulic and electrical systems, including pressure testingInstall hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines, as well as valves, pumps, and motorsComplete electrical tasks such as laying, connecting, and securing wiring loomsPerform fault diagnosis and ensure basic checks are completed on all electronic installsDismantle faulty assemblies and repair or replace defective partsEnsure accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assembliesProvide support with design/development tasks through the use of engineer change notes/BOM variancesSupport, offer, and complete training with peers, trainees, and colleaguesRequirementsServed technical apprenticeship or equivalent trainingGood technical knowledge of the products, with a willingness to undertake training to expand knowledgeGood interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearlyThe ability to work as part of a team as well as independentlyWell-developed problem-solving skillsGood practical skills and excellent attention to detailAbility to work accurately in a lean manner to ensure efficiencies in buildGood time management skillsA good working knowledge of electrics, pneumatics, and hydraulicsBenefitsChoice of shift patterns: 6.30-15.30 or 7.30-16.30Bereavement leaveNon-contributory life assurance25 days holiday + bank holidaysPensionCash planAt KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout, spelling and grammar as well as making sure it is up to date before you submit.
