Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity?
Supply Desk are seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join one of our partner schools on a full or part-time basis, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have an inclusive, engaging teaching style and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging music lessons that align with the secondary curriculum.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and motivated to participate.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, providing additional support or extension activities as required.
- Assess student progress through various methods and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their learning goals.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and collaborate to support student development.
- Use innovative teaching strategies and resources, including technology, to enhance learning and keep students engaged.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events to contribute to the school community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience teaching KS3-5 music, ideally in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
- An inclusive, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring all students have access to a high-quality education.
