Supply Desk is seeking a passionate and engaging French specialist to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school near Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated MFL teacher to inspire students and contribute to a thriving department through a full-time, long-term role.
About the Role
As a specialist in French, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, engaging language lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be expected to:
- Take full teaching responsibilities including lesson planning, delivery, assessment, and progress tracking
- Foster a love of languages and actively engage students inside and outside the classroom
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to extra-curricular activities
- Support the school’s vision for raising attainment in MFL
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs who:
- Specialise in French and can confidently teach across KS3 and KS4
- Are committed to inclusive and engaging teaching practices
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic
- Thrive in a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Live locally to Maidstone or can reasonably commute for a full-time role
