We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician Pharmacist to join a leading pharmacy service in Kent. This locum opportunity, available at Band 5, 6, or 7 level, offers up to £32 per hour and the stability of full-time work. You will play a pivotal role in revalidating the aseptic unit, overseeing in-house chemotherapy delivery, supporting clinical trials, and strengthening the pharmacy’s Quality Management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revalidate the aseptic unit responsible for in-house chemotherapy and clinical trials.

  • Manage and oversee the Pharmacy Quality Management system.

  • Work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Lead to drive compliance and robust quality standards.

  • Organise and coordinate daily activities within the service as directed by the QA Lead.

  • Support and collaborate with the Quality Control Officer and QA Technician to prioritise workloads and allocate tasks effectively.

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of Quality Assurance and Quality Control training.

Requirements
  • HCPC registration is essential.

  • Full driving licence, with the ability to travel across multiple sites.

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance within pharmacy services.

  • Excellent organisational and teamworking skills.
