Sonic Summary

A new Estimator position is available in Mid Kent, starting in June 2025.
The role is permanent and offers a salary range of £65,000 to £70,000, along with a competitive benefits package.
The successful candidate will report to a Commercial Manager and will be responsible for developing project budgets and negotiating with suppliers.
Applicants should have recent experience as an Estimator and be qualified to HNC level or above.
Experience in residential schemes is preferred but not essential for this role.

The role:

Reporting into a Commercial Manager your role will involve but not be limited to:

Develop project budgets based on estimates and provide cost information to project managers and clients
Assist to prepare and submit competitive bids and tenders for new projects
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible deals
Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project costs and timelines
Suggest alternative materials or methods that can achieve cost savings
Monitor project costs against estimates and budgets, identifying any variances
Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, tender submissions, and correspondence with suppliers and subcontractors
