Engineering and Maintenance Scheduler- Maidstone- Up to 30k- Permanent

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering and FM Scheduler to join their team based in Maidstone Kent.

Monday to Friday 8.00- 17.00 Full time in the office

* Allocate jobs to in-house engineers based on their skills, availability, and location.

* Liaise with the Helpdesk Manager and Send Engineers to roles to complete and close down jobs when completed

Collaborate closely with the Subcontractor Planner to ensure in-house resource is prioritised and only escalate to subcontractors when required.

* Adjust schedules to accommodate urgent callouts, absences, or shifting priorities.

* Ensure all job details are correct and access arrangements, permits, and RAMS are in place.

* Monitor engineer first time fix rates, escalating when needed.

* Monitor engineers diary throughout the day to ensure that the jobs are being completed on time. Customer & Stakeholder Communication

* Book jobs in with customers and confirm attendance and appointments

* Keep the customer informed on all changes, delays, or re-scheduling.

* Answer incoming calls and respond to emails.

* Act as a point of contact for both customers and engineers for any job-related queries Parts & Logistics Coordination:

* Place and track orders for parts and materials required for reactive jobs.

* Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival at job sites or with engineers.

* Communicate with engineers to confirm part requirements and delivery details.

* Handle any discrepancies, delays, or issues with suppliers or deliveries. Escalating where needed.

* Liaise with Quotes & Procurement Coordinator to advise on supplier performance.
