Opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor to join a Kent based contractor working on commercial CAT A/B interior fit outs.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
Exciting opportunity for an experienced project quantity surveyor to join a growing and reputable Maidstone based contractor working on design and build projects across multiple sectors, including bespoke residential and commercial workplaces. Needs to have previous experience CAT A and CAT B commercial fit outs as this position is within the interiors team.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
- To support the authorisation and submission of project variations
- To authorise the placement of contracts, subcontracts, material and plant orders
- Managing Packages
- Site Meetings
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
- 2 years' experience and understanding of interior fit out processes, particularly CAT A and CAT B.
- Main or sub-contractor background.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
