Geography Teacher – Full-Time Role in Maidstone

Are you a qualified and passionate Geography Teacher available to teach until at least December 2025? This is a full-time role with strong potential for extension or a permanent position.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a dynamic Humanities department. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on inclusive and high-quality learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, well-structured Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
Differentiate content to meet the needs of all learners
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to support achievement
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Participate in school activities and departmental meetings

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Geography or a related subject
Proven experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
Confident in lesson planning and classroom management
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to professional development and student success
Availability to work full-time through to at least December 2025
