We are inviting applications for a Maths Teacher at a prestigious grammar school in the Medway area. This permanent position is set to begin in September and offers a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to contribute to a high-achieving environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative Maths lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Foster a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and suitable for the needs of all students.
- Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students and provide feedback to promote and acknowledge student achievements.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and maximize student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons and organize inter-departmental activities.
- Participate in school events, outings, and activities which may occasionally take place at weekends or in the evening.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems and apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at secondary school level.
- Strong understanding of the mathematical concepts and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to create and maintain a challenging and innovative learning environment.
