Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?

Vision for Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of specialist settings, including schools that support pupils with ASC, SEMH, PMLD, and complex needs.

The Role:

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo
  • Adapting learning resources and activities to meet individual needs
  • Helping manage behaviour in a nurturing and consistent manner
  • Encouraging student independence and social development

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in school, care, or community settings)
  • A calm, patient, and flexible approach
  • Team Teach, Makaton, or PECS training (desirable but not essential)
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to do one)
