We are working with a family-run business based close to Paddock Wood, specialising in providing supplies to businesses. With over 20 years of trusted supplier relationships and a strong commitment to service, they are now looking for a new Warehouse Operative to join their close-knit team of four.

This role has become available due to the retirement of a long-standing team member who had been with the company for two decades – a testament to the positive working environment and team culture.

What the role involves:

  • Attention to detail – checking goods in/out, ensuring items are properly handled and presented.
  • Awkward lifting – some items can be large and bulky, so you will need to be physically capable and safety-conscious.
  • Loading delivery vans – preparing and loading goods the night before dispatch (approximately 80% of deliveries are handled in-house, with some via trusted couriers).
  • Teamwork – this is a very team-orientated business where everyone chips in to get the job done.
  • General warehouse tasks – maintaining cleanliness, organising stock, liaising with drivers and other departments.
  • Occasional deliveries to assist the drivers on an Ad Hoc basis. So need o e good with customers and hold a full UK driving license

What we are looking for:

  • Previous warehouse experience is ideal, particularly with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good level of physical fitness and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Reliable, conscientious, and happy working as part of a small team.
  • Someone who takes pride in doing things properly and supporting others.

This is a great opportunity to join a warm, considerate business that values loyalty, team spirit, and a job well done.
