Production Operative

Production Operative - 12.21 per hour | Temp to Perm | Full Time | Maldon

We are currently working with a well-established food product manufacturer based in the Maldon area, who is looking to recruit a Production Operative on a temporary to permanent basis.

About the Role:

As a key member of the production team, you will operate both semi-automated and fully automated machinery on the production lines. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For in a Production Operative:

• Previous experience in manufacturing and production (preferably within food production or automated line environments)

• A flexible approach to working hours

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• A proactive and reliable work ethic

• A reasonable level of physical fitness (must be able to lift up to 20kg)

• Access to your own transport is beneficial due to the location

Key Responsibilities of the Production Operative:

• Operating various packing and production machinery

• Assisting with general warehouse tasks

• Cleaning and maintaining the production area at the end of each shift

Pay & Hours:

• Monday to Friday, various hours within 6am -10pm (8 hour days)

• Hourly rate: 12.21

• Immediate start available
