Cnc Turner

All Square Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join a dynamic team on their late shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes, specifically Citizen and Miyano machines, to produce precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, particularly Citizen and Miyano models, to produce high-precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Conduct quality inspections using appropriate measuring tools to maintain product standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements for the role:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner, with strong programming, setting, and operating skills.
• Proficiency in operating Citizen and Miyano CNC Multi-Axis Lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the late shift from 4pm to 12am.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a variety of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, and brass.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
• Relevant engineering or manufacturing qualifications.
