CUSTOMER OPERATIONS ADVISOR

Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Customer Operations Advisor to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in Malton.

ROLE: Customer Operations Advisor

PAY RATE: 13.06/hour, circa 27,100 per annum

JOB TYPE: temp to perm

LOCATION: Malton (YO17)

HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, 40 hours per week, 30 min break

THE ROLE:

  • Ordering stock required from suppliers.
  • Complete manual handling of stock from deliveries to storeroom including heavier items such as motors, pumps, gas bottles.
  • Use order book to expedite orders and speak to suppliers on a daily basis to ensure orders are on schedule.
  • Placing orders within necessary timeframes, ensuring best lead time, price and delivery times
  • Sourcing and inputting non-stocked parts into stock systems.
  • Manual handling of stock (motors, pumps, gas bottles, etc.).



THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Competent in basic IT Skills - monitoring emails, data entry, using the stock ordering systems.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and comfortable in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in storerooms /stores activities is desirable.
  • Be able to meet the physical demands of the manual handling required in the role.
  • Prior experience in procurement or office environments, more so in an engineering, supply chain, MRO environment highly beneficial.
  • Please be aware that the Sofina site is a slaughterhouse with butchery completed onsite.
