Draughtsman

Staff Power Group is recruiting on behalf of our valued client based near Malton. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Design Technician to join a forward-thinking company. You will be responsible for producing high-quality production drawings for a variety of products, including standard systems and bespoke solutions tailored to client specifications.

Working from order forms and technical drawings provided by clients, youll use SolidWorks 3D modelling software and AutoCAD to deliver accurate and detailed designs. You will also work closely with the production team and be expected to gain an in-depth understanding of the products being manufactured.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert client requirements into manufacturing drawings
• Produce installation drawings for client use
• Create technical drawings
• Interpret customer specifications accurately
• Collaborate with internal teams across departments

• Prioritise and manage workload independently
• Ensure precision and quality in all issued work
• Work to tight deadlines without compromising on standards
• Report compliance concerns and participate in training as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a design office supporting production
• Strong 3D CAD skills SolidWorks and AutoCAD are essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• HNC/BTEC in Engineering
