Search Consultancy are supporting an established business in Castle Howard, near Malton with the recruitment of a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations and ensure the smooth running of the office. This position involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and general accounting tasks, while also handling administrative duties. The ideal candidate is highly organised, self-motivated, and experienced in both finance and operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Process payroll and maintain employee records for compensation and benefits.
- Monitor cash flow, analyse financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Have experience in finance and accounting
- Be proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Have a strong understanding of financial regulations and HR processes.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.Have high attention to detail and accuracy.
What's on offer?
Salary up to £35,000 per annum, flexible working hours. The role requires you to work in the office 5 days per week however start and finish times can be agreed to suit you.
