We're currently looking for a fully trained Maintenance Engineer to support both reactive and planned maintenance activities at our client's site. If you're mechanically / Electrically skilled, hands-on, and thrive in a busy environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out statutory and preventive maintenance on plant and equipment

  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faults

  • Perform repairs, rebuilds, and manufacture replacement parts (lathe/milling experience preferred)

  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment

  • Operate portable tools and plant equipment safely

  • Carry out welding and fabrication tasks

  • Maintain accurate records using our CMMS system

  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter, Technician, or Engineer

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)

  • Strong time management and organisational skills

  • IT literate with experience using maintenance software

  • Flexible with working hours and open to overtime

  • Experience with CAD/SolidWorks, automation, or robotics (a plus)

  • Basic electrical knowledge (preferred)
