I am working with a well-established accountancy firm based in Malvern who are seeking a Tax Senior to join their friendly and supportive tax department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently qualified at ATT level or brings solid experience in personal and corporate tax.

The position is ideally full-time (37.5 hours/week), but part-time candidates will also be considered. Hybrid working and flexible hours are available, offering a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of approx. 300 personal tax clients
  • Preparing personal tax returns and providing tax advice and support
  • Liaising with HMRC to resolve tax code issues, chase refunds, and manage other ad hoc queries
  • Reviewing corporation tax returns and assisting with their preparation
  • Assisting with P11D preparation
  • Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax returns
  • Registering trusts using the Trust Registration Service (TRS)
  • Participating in client meetings and calls to review returns and discuss tax matters

Candidate Profile:

  • ATT qualified or equivalent experience in a tax-focused role
  • Strong personal tax knowledge: experience with corporate tax is a plus
  • Confident communicator with good client-facing skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with the wider team
