About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Home Manager to lead a well-established 22-bed residential care home that supports adults with a wide range of needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident in managing a stable service.

Our home provides care and support for people living with:

  • Mental health conditions
  • Dementia
  • Learning disabilities and autism
  • Physical and sensory impairments
  • Alcohol and substance misuse issues
  • People detained under the Mental Health Act
  • Older people in need of permanent or respite care

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the home and ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered
  • Supporting and developing a dedicated, long-standing team
  • Driving quality improvement and making sure we meet - and exceed - regulatory standards
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals
  • Keeping the home running smoothly and safely, from staffing and training to audits, budgeting, and compliance
  • Championing personalised care and promoting dignity, respect, and choice for every individual

What We're Looking For

  • Someone with previous management experience in a residential or mental health care setting
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and the ability to lead a service to an 'Outstanding' rating
  • A confident, approachable leader who knows how to bring out the best in a team
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards it)
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a real passion for improving lives
