About Us:

We are a leading provider of Oxygen and Medical gas delivery products, medical devices healthcare technology solutions, committed to improving patient outcomes and supporting healthcare professionals with reliable, high-quality equipment within the Hospital and Ambulance market. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our medical equipment and devices are, serviced, and maintained to the highest standards. You will be the face of our business in hospitals, clinics, and ambulance trusts providing technical expertise and customer support.

Please note that the company does not offer sponsorship and therefore candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-situ service, maintain, and repair a range of medical devices and equipment
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, test and calibration to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimising downtime for healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements. (service reports and site visit records)
  • Manage spare parts, tools, and company vehicle stock effectively.
  • Work closely with the technical support and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a field service engineering role, ideally within medical devices, biomedical engineering, or healthcare technology.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong IT and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexible approach to travel and working hours (overnight stays will be required).
  • Full UK driving licence (clean).
