Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester who due to continued growth, are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team.

Ideal for a recently ACA/ ACCA Qualified individual (PQ or MAAT considered) working in practice seeking continued professional development and an excellent work/ life balance.

You will be working with an impressive client base from a broad range of industry sectors, involving regular client liaison and more advisory work as you progress.

Fantastic remuneration and extensive benefits package, option of WFH 2 days per week, flexible working hours, and person progression plan. Part time also considered.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnershipsCorporate tax computationsManagement accounts preparationReview of VAT Returns & bookkeepingTraining clients on accountancy softwareMentoring junior staffLiaising with HMRCDealing with client queries

You:

ACA / ACCA Qualified (ideally)Part Qualified/ MAAT also consideredStrong technical knowledge of FRS 102 standards (ideally)Previous experience of working in practice is essentialKnowledge of accountancy software such as Xero & Quickbooks is beneficial
