Assistant Management Accountant | Manchester City Centre | Up to £42,000

Job Summary:

Talentedge are working with a rapidly growing software company based in the heart of Manchester. With a T/O of £25million and plans to expand into North America, now is the perfect time to join!

We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Management Accountant to join their Finance team. This role will be pivotal in providing financial insights, preparing management accounts, and supporting business growth initiatives. If you are proactive, analytical, and a strong communicator this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements for multiple entities
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing analysis on variances and trends.
  • Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring accurate accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce detailed financial reports and analysis to support senior management in decision-making.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and recharges across global entities, ensuring compliance with group policies.
  • Help track key financial metrics, analyse variances, and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
  • Ad- hoc projects and duties as required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years experience within a similar role
  • AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qual and looking to study/continue with study
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Microsoft Excel literate
  • Strong communicator
