About the Roles:
Audit Senior / Assistant Manager / ManagerYou will play a key role in leading and delivering audit assignments across a wide range of sectors. From managing client relationships and risk assessments to coaching junior staff and ensuring top-quality reporting, your impact will be felt at every stage of the audit lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior audit staff
- Deliver high-quality audits in compliance with ISAs and company policies
- Build strong client relationships and identify value-added service opportunities
- Collaborate across departments to enhance the client experience
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience in an audit-focused role within practice (UK-based experience preferred)
- Proven track record of working with SME`s
- Strong understanding of audit and financial reporting standards (FRS/IFRS)
- Effective communicator and relationship builder
- Proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience with audit software such as CaseWare and CCH (beneficial but not essential)
- Must be based in Liverpool/Bolton/Manchester
