A unique opportunity to mould a role to your own skillset and level….

Having recently been through an MBO, new processes, modern tech, skilled "Heads of", territory expansion, change, development and investment, are all happening right now for this well-established SME. They are entering a new era, and require a skilled, commercially-minded finance leader to add to the exec team.

On the profile of person for this role, they are flexible on the level and want to mould the position to the right person…So:

Option 1) £60,000 - £70,000

You're probably operating at FM / early FC level. You've cut your teeth into accounting, management, stakeholder engagement at a senior level and you're looking to step-up to expand on your knowledge/skillset with a long term view to reach FD levels in the next 3-5years.

Option 2) £70,000 - £80,000

You're an established FC and/or Head of Finance looking for a new challenge, new energy and a business in which you can influence the strategic direction as it continues on a high growth path over the next 5yrs. This person would be ready to step-up to FD in 12ms time.

Either options work - They have structures and external support in place to facilitate either profile.

It's a phenomenal opportunity for someone so wants a modern, forward-thinking business revolutionising their finance function to be scalable for growth. You'll oversee a team of 2 x accountants, one CIMA qual, one junior accountant. This team will grow, and you'll be tasked with hiring the team members and progression is guaranteed, the Finance Director role will be offered to this candidate when they have proven they are ready.

On your role, you'll produce the Board packs, present at Board-level on a monthly basis inclusive of CEO, CTO and non-exec Directors, you'll be the POC for audit, the bank, key stakeholders and improve/enhance processes in accounts. It's hands-on, technical, commercial, strategic, operational…This role gives exposure to every level of finance.

The business is looking for qualified finance professionals, ideally with experience using modern tech such as PowerBi and some experience within industrial industries i.e engineering or manufacturing. Experience working within growing SMEs would be the icing on the cake.
