An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Manchester. Recently acquired by a larger group, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth and development. As Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial controls are in place.

You will be responsible for leading a finance team of seven, providing mentorship and oversight to ensure accurate and timely reporting. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including cost accounting, inventory management, and process improvement. You will work closely with the Group Finance function to align reporting standards and contribute to integration initiatives following the acquisition.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a solid background in manufacturing.
