The Role:You'll lead a small finance team, ensuring accurate and timely production of management accounts and reporting across multiple business entities in the group. This includes overseeing month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, financial audits, and stakeholder reporting.Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce and review financial and management accounts
  • Lead month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
  • Improve reporting processes and support financial compliance
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management for the finance team
  • Partner with non-financial stakeholders and contribute to strategic discussions
About You:
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (e.g. IFRS, FRS 102)
  • Confident team leader with a proven track record in people development
  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communicator who can explain financial information to all levels
