The finance team is lean, collaborative, and highly engaged with the wider business – this is not a back-office role.

The Opportunity

As Group Accountant, you’ll take on a varied and hands-on role, working closely with the Financial Controller and wider business teams. You’ll play a key part in delivering accurate financial information, improving processes, and acting as a true business partner across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of group consolidated accounts and management reporting

  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

  • Partnering with department heads to provide financial insight and support decision-making

  • Contributing to the development of internal controls and process improvements

  • Liaising with auditors and supporting year-end processes

  • Ad hoc project work related to growth, acquisitions and system improvements

What We’re Looking For
  • Newly qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)

  • Audit experience from a smaller or mid-tier firm, ideally with hands-on exposure to SME clients

  • Strong technical skills, with a proactive and commercially-minded approach

  • Excellent communication skills and an interest in working closely with non-finance stakeholders

  • Ambition to grow with a business going through change and expansion
