We are seeking an Interim Management Accountant for a 3-6 month contract in Trafford.
The position offers a day rate of £300 to £400.

Candidates should have significant interim experience and relevant qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle are essential, and candidates must be immediately available.

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: Trafford

Day Rate: 300/400 per day

We're supporting a client with the immediate appointment of an Interim Management Accountant to support BAU finance operations alongside project-based improvements. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone confident navigating complex reconciliations, month-end processes, and stakeholder reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
Project support for clearing historic reconciliation issues (e.g. bank, revenue, debtors)
Assist with audit preparation and process improvements
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams

Candidate Profile:

CIMA / ACCA / ACA - with significant interim experience
Strong technical grounding across management reporting, reconciliations, and controls
Sector experience across large corporates and SMEs
Advanced Excel skills and ERP exposure (SAP, Oracle, BI tools)
Immediately available and highly adaptable
