Are you a seasoned finance professional with a strong track record in capital accounting and public sector finance? We’re looking for a Senior Capital Accountant to join a dynamic and collaborative finance team supporting a key directorate focused on infrastructure, regeneration, and place-based services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Senior Capital Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial support and insight. You’ll:

  • Lead on capital cost management, budget reviews, and identifying efficiencies.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across finance and service teams.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and develop robust monitoring systems.
  • Prepare and interpret financial data for accounts, statutory returns, and performance reports.
