Financial Controller - Tech/SAAS business - PE backed

Based: Manchester area

Salary: circa �75k-�85k dependent on experience + benefits (private healthcare, critical illness cover, matched pension and more)

1-2 days office based, rest remote working and flexible hours

My client is a hugely progressive, Private Equity backed tech/SAAS business based in the centre of Manchester. The company have rapidly expanded since their inception now operating with 7 global offices and around 200+ staff globally. Growing 50% year on year and with huge change over the last 12 months including a PE exit, further PE backing from a world leading PE house this is an exciting opportunity for a progressive Senior Finance professional.

On offer will be the chance to be part of a business looking to double turnover in the next 3 years, a chance to progress to FD in 2-3 years and also be an integral part of a PE exit in the same timeframe. You will work under a fantastic Manager/mentor with a clear path for future progression

Role:

• Managing the group finance function with 5 direct reports across Europe and UK entities
• Main POC for external advisors, working with the FD on multiple projects
• Managing accounts preparation and audits for 4 entities across UK and Europe
• Management of the accounting function, general ledger close
• Overseeing all ledgers, account reconciliations, journal entries by the team
• Analysis, reporting, tax, VAT and governmental reporting requirements for multiple entities across EMEA
• Leading on future acquisitions and integrating to group structure alongside any future mergers
• Working closely with FD and CFO to drive growth and
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop processes and procedures to facilitate future growth of the team and business
• Process change and implementation across various areas of finance

Experience:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified essential with post qualified experience
• Proven leader, experience of managing and leading a team in finance
• Strong commercial & financial understanding from within an SME environment
• Involvement within a Private Equity backed business would be desirable
• Audit trained ACA/ACCA qualified OR tech/SAAS exposure desirable, FRS102 knowledge essential
• Strong organisational and time management experience is essential
