Sewell Wallis are currently working with market leading business based in Manchester, who are looking for a Treasury Assistant to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis. For anyone with a background in transactional finance or administration with a focus on numerical data, this is one not to be missed.

What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring daily high volume bank reconciliations are performed accurately.
  • Processing payments and dealing with BACS payments.
  • Assisting in maintaining up to date and accurate cash management processes including cashflow and cash allocation.
  • Reconciling and investigating surplus funds and unidentified receipts.
  • Liaising with banks.
  • Reconciliation of petty cash.
  • Understand the roles of colleagues in all areas to be able to work flexibly and deal with or refer queries in a timely manner.
  • Use judgement to escalate any issues appropriately

What skills are we looking for?

  • Experience within a Treasury/Finance or Administrative role.
  • Confidence carrying out a high volume of bank reconciliations.
  • The ability to deal with high volumes of numerical data.
  • Strong administrative and organisation skills as well as multitasking skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel.
