University Administrator

35 hours, 5 Days a Week. 100% onsite

Temporary - Immediate Start - ongoing until end of September 2025.

£13.98 per hour plus holiday pay You will be required to provide administrative support tasks to support a busy HE department.

This is a temporary role and is expected to last 3 months; however, it could be longer.

You will mainly be covering a busy reception desk involved in the checking in and out of exam scripts as part of the various stages of marking and tracking via a spreadsheet.

This is a staff-facing position, so customer service skills will be needed, as well as good organisation and communication. It can be quite hectic at times with exam deadlines to meet, so someone who is used to or can adapt to working in a busy environment will be important.

Experience of using SharePoint, Microsoft Excel and MS Teams is essential.

The post holder will be a key administrative point of contact within the team and will ensure questions, issues and concerns are addressed effectively.

This is a diverse and busy role which would suit a candidate who is flexible, able to hit the ground running and equally, someone who will pitch in when required during peak times to support team members.
