Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily quality activities for your assigned value stream.

  • Use quality tools like APQP, PFMEA, SPC, and control plans to manage and improve product/process quality.

  • Monitor and analyse production data to identify improvement areas.

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using 8D, PPS, DMAIC.

  • Manage production scrap and supplier quality issues using MRB processes.

  • Support new product introductions from a quality perspective.

  • Ensure compliance with standards (e.g., AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001) and support internal/external audits.

  • Report on quality KPIs and contribute to the annual improvement plan.

  • Maintain and improve quality policies, procedures, and documentation.

  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and methodologies.



Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in a quality engineering role in an AS9100 or ISO9001 manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient in quality systems and tools: APQP, PPAP, FAIR, ISIR, SPC, control plans.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings (including GD&T).

  • Strong communication and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.



Desirable Attributes:

  • Trained AS9100/ISO9001 auditor

  • Experience with CMM (coordinate measuring machines)

  • Familiar with lean tools (5S, SMED, Jidoka, Single Piece Flow)

  • Competent in using project management tools (e.g., MS Project)



Other Requirements:

  • Driving licence and flexibility to travel to customer/supplier sites at short notice.
