Looking for an exciting remediation opportunity? This is a great opportunity for a remediation engineer to join a talented engineering consultancy based in Manchester.

You will have the chance to work with a talented team of remediation professionals and work on exciting large scale infrastructure projects.

As the Remediation Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering land remediation projects across the Northwest. Working closely with other multi-disciplinary teams and contractors, you will assess contaminated sites, develop, and implement remediation strategies, oversee on-site treatment operations, and ensure that all work is carried out in line with environmental, health, and safety regulations. You will also be involved in analysing environmental data, preparing technical reports, and liaising with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure the successful completion of each project. This is a hands-on role offering a balance of fieldwork, technical problem-solving, and project coordination.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in site investigation, remediation, or contaminated land assessment is beneficial (full training provided).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Northwest.
