Our Manchester-based client is looking for a Senior Recipe/Batch Design Engineer
Required Experience & Skills
Essential
- Proven experience designing and configuring batch and recipe systems in an industrial automation environment.
- Strong understanding of batch process design and execution from end to end.
- Hands-on experience with batch/recipe configuration tools (e.g. Siemens SIMATIC Batch, PCS 7 (preferable), TIA Portal, or equivalent platforms).
- Experience producing and reviewing FDS, DDS, and recipe definition documentation.
- Ability to review others' work and provide technical leadership.
- Experience working in regulated or highly structured environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, food & beverage, or chemical industries.
- Familiarity with GMP environments and validation practices.
- Knowledge of ISA-88 batch standards.
- Previous experience acting as a lead or senior engineer on automation projects.
