Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting role, with multiple positions, on offer to join a leading construction engineering firm as a Senior/Principal Structural Engineer, on a contract basis, outside IR35. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis, 3 days a week, from our client's Manchester office. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including working on a project centred around a nuclear fuel facility.

-Competitive hourly rate ranging from 50-60 (depending on experience)

-Hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities:

-Design and analyse structural systems that meet regulations, using appropriate materials and CAD software for simulations.

-Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure contractor work meets structural standards.

-Construct reports, drawings, and calculations using software such as Tekla, ETABS, or Revit.

-Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other professionals, and provide technical advice and throughout the project.

-Manage planning applications and ensure compliance with building regulations.

What We Are Looking For:

-Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred), with proven experience working on projects linked to this field.

-Senior applicants must have, or be eligible for, security clearance.

-Strong communications skills for client facing environments.

-Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE.

-Proficient in structural analysis and design software, such as Revit, Robot, Tekla, and STAAD.
