  • Embed principles of sustainability, accessibility, and lifecycle value into all design solutions, contributing to long-term asset performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of design iterations, approvals, and correspondence to support quality assurance, risk management, and audit requirements.

Building Control, Party Wall Compliance & Planning:

  • Take ownership of ensuring full compliance with Building Control regulations, Planning conditions, and the Party Wall Act.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, site supervisors, and consultants to uphold statutory and safety obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare, review, and submit all necessary documentation to Building Control authorities and planning officers ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proactively secure all necessary permits, licences, and approvals prior to commencement of construction activities.
  • Monitor and maintain detailed records of compliance trackers, inspection reports, and regulatory correspondence, ensuring the project remains audit ready.
  • Stay informed of emerging legislation, industry standards, and best practices, providing updates and guidance to internal teams to ensure ongoing compliance.

General Tasks:

  • Manage email, calendar, and diary functions efficiently to prioritise tasks, schedule meetings, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for project meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.
