A respected architectural practice based in Manchester is seeking to grow its accomplished team. This is a fantastic chance to join a locally established studio known for its forward-thinking residential work.

You'll be involved in a varied portfolio spanning medium to high-rise housing developments, with occasional bespoke private homes. Most projects are situated in Manchester city centre and across Greater Manchester, often involving sensitive sites, listed buildings (Grade I & II), and conservation zones - offering a rewarding design challenge.

Founded around 10 years ago, the practice has thrived under the leadership of a seasoned directorship. Their dedication to design quality and strategic recruitment over the past year has set the stage for continued momentum. With a strong pipeline of new projects launching in 2025 and beyond, the future looks bright.

The studio - a close-knit team of around 10 architects and designers - is now looking to welcome a new design-led architect. Ideally, you'll have approx 2-3 years of post-qualification experience, with plenty of scope for career development.

We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with residential experience, especially those familiar with medium or high-rise schemes. However, applicants from commercial backgrounds are also very welcome. Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, or MicroStation is desirable, though training can be arranged if needed.

Salary 36,000 - 39,000 per annum, depending on experience.
