Design Manager

Our client is currently looking for a Design Manager for there client offices in Warrington, the role will be Outside of IR35 and offering a negotiable rate, the position will also offer a hybrid pattern of working with occasion site visitations but working from home when required.

The client is looking for candidates that have experience working within the Water sector in either a Mechanical, Electrical ICA or Civils disciplines in maintenance, design or capital delivery roles. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of design delivery, design procurement, design management, design control, quality assurance, BIM to ISO 19650 and have a working knowledge of the NEC4 suite of contracts.

You will be responsible for controlling the flow of information between parties to ensure relevant information is available to the relevant teams at the right time, including the supply chain partners, you will also be preparing design scopes and agree deliverable requirements in collaboration with relevant teams.

You will also be responsible for ensuring designs are implemented and managed to aligned to the project BIM strategy. Candidates must be experience working with NEC 4 Contract and have experience of Water industry working.
