We're pleased to be supporting SICK! Productions with the appointment of two new Trustees.

SICK! is looking for forward-thinking individuals to join our Board of Trustees and play a key role in shaping our future. SICK! Productions Ltd (primarily known for SICK! Festival) is a Manchester-based arts organisation and charity, driven by the intersecting identities of our diverse team.

SICK! faces up to the complexities of mental and physical health. We amplify the voices of marginalised communities through an internationally recognised arts programme that encourages dialogue around challenging issues often hidden from public view. Rooted in our local community of Moston, Harpurhey and Charlestown while working across the city of Manchester and internationally, we commission impactful works from artists across Greater Manchester, the UK, and the world. These works are created in collaboration with local communities, health professionals, charities, researchers, grassroots and cultural organisations.

As we develop our (Apply online only) business plan, your expertise will be crucial in guiding strategies that advance our mission. With an unwavering focus on mental and physical health, disability, and inequality, our work is more relevant than ever.

We are looking to welcome 2 new Trustees with skills in one or more of the following areas: - Finance/accountancy or Safeguarding policies and practices.

As an organisation, we are committed to ensuring our Board reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. We are actively encouraging applications from people facing racism, those who identify as LGBTQIA+, individuals from lower socio-economic backgrounds, and those with disabilities. We would also welcome applications from people with connections to Moston, Harpurhey, and Charlestown in North Manchester.
