About the Role
Join the UK's largest building compliance team as a Level 1 Air Tightness Tester, focusing on domestic dwelling projects in Manchester and nearby regions. Play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations 2021, contributing to energy-efficient, sustainable buildings. This position offers growth opportunities, including progression to Level 2 certification, as well as skills development in thermal imaging, sound testing, and consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct air tightness tests on domestic dwellings per regulatory standards.
- Perform site inspections and identify potential air leakage issues.
- Review architectural drawings and offer design recommendations.
- Provide consultancy to enhance air tightness and reduce construction risks.
- Prepare detailed test reports and recommend remedial actions.
- Collaborate with clients and teams to meet air tightness targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Level 1 Air Tightness Tester certification (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Part L of the Building Regulations 2021.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid UK driving licence (travel across Manchester and nearby areas required).
