Our client, a leading name in the electronics and AV industry, is looking for a Product Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting chance to oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring that their offerings align with customer needs, industry trends, and cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Development

  • Take ownership of the product portfolio, defining and executing the product roadmap in line with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer requirements and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to create and enhance products.
  • Prioritise product features based on customer feedback, feasibility, and business impact.
  • Ensure all products comply with industry standards, certifications, and regulations.

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Provide technical product training to the sales team in collaboration with the service department.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging for go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create compelling promotional materials.
  • Support key sales initiatives by conducting product demonstrations.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

  • Gather customer feedback and translate insights into product improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, integrators, and key clients.
  • Act as the product expert, supporting pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Technical & Project Management

  • Oversee product testing, validation, documentation, and launch processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to optimise costs, quality, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensure timely product delivery within budget constraints.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in AV, Pro Audio, or IT-related product management.
  • Strong technical understanding of AV signal distribution, connectivity, and control solutions.
  • Proven experience in launching and managing successful AV/tech products.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and product lifecycle management tools.

Desirable:

  • Experience with HDBaseT, HDMI, USB extension, Networked AV, AVoIP, Dante, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
  • Previous experience working in a B2B technology environment.
