The Role

Our client, a respected ecological consultancy with a strong UK presence, is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join their Manchester team. You'll lead surveys, manage projects, and deliver high-quality ecological assessments across sectors including infrastructure, energy, and development.



What You'll Do

  • Deliver and manage ecological projects from start to finish

  • Lead protected species and habitat surveys

  • Produce and review technical reports and mitigation strategies

  • Provide expert advice to clients and mentor junior team members



About You

  • Degree in Ecology or related discipline

  • 3+ years' consultancy experience

  • Skilled in survey design, reporting, and client liaison

  • Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation

  • CIEEM membership (Assoc or above) preferred

  • Full UK driving licence
