About the Role

We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to join our engineering team supporting the Boeing 777 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) Conversion Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the industry's most advanced wide-body conversion projects, ensuring the successful transition of passenger aircraft into fully compliant freighter configurations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform removal, installation, modification, and functional testing of avionics systems and electrical components associated with the P2F conversion.

Support integration of new cargo systems, flight deck modifications, and electrical load updates.

Install and route new wiring looms, connectors, and harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings and modification manuals.

Carry out system checks, continuity testing, and troubleshooting of avionics and electrical systems.

Assist in the installation and certification of cargo handling systems, smoke detection, and environmental monitoring systems.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with EASA Part-145 / FAA standards and company procedures.

Complete and maintain accurate documentation, task cards, and modification records.

Liaise with engineering, structures, and systems teams to support integration and testing phases.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as an Avionics Technician on wide-body aircraft (B777 experience highly desirable).

Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and modification procedures.

Previous experience on P2F, cargo conversion, or major modification projects preferred.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and technical documentation.

EASA Part-66 B2 Licence or equivalent qualification (advantageous but not essential).

Right to work in [insert country].

Flexible, safety-focused, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Tooling Provided

What you'll need:

Ability to read manufacturers' drawings/SRMs

UK Right to Work & valid driving licence
