About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and work across 4 Divisions /Companies across Greater Manchester, therefore a car owner / driver is essential. This is an exciting role for an adaptable bookkeeper who loves the fact, that no two days are the same.

- Salary: 27-32k dependent on experience

As a key member of the finance and accounting function, you will be responsible for:

Reporting to senior staff you will be responsible for bookkeeping in accordance with company procedures and meeting all necessary deadlines.Role duties and responsibilities:• Purchase ledger management and reconciliations.• Sales ledger management and reconciliations.• Bank reconciliations.• Preparation of VAT returns.• Entering journals.• Management reporting.• Complete bookkeeping to Trial Balance ready for accounts production.• Liaising with HMRC.• Regular communication with management.• Resolving supplier and invoice queries.• Ad hoc related tasks that may arise.The ideal candidate:• Accounts preparation experience.• The ability to work both within a small team and alone essential.• Very good knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and/or other cloud-based software.• AAT L3/L4 or qualified by experience.• Minimum 2 years accounts experience.

The Ideal Candidate will have:• Previous experience working in a multi-site environment. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong technical knowledge of financial systems and processes.
