Our client is currently recruiting a Graduate Broadcast Support technician to join their broadcast support team. The Graduate Broadcast Support technician will Assist with providing support to broadcast equipment within studios, apparatus rooms, and galleries, for example: production switchers, broadcast cameras, AV routers, audio mixers, modular infrastructure "glue".


Key Responsibilities for the Graduate Broadcast Support Technician:

  • Assist with supporting our satellite dish farm with reactive fault finding and preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with providing support to our Net Insight Nimbra AnyLive network and associated equipment.
  • Assist with supporting and maintaining various IP networks using the following hardware: Cisco, Arista and FS.
  • To log faults and irregularities.
  • To assist with in-house project, decommission and installation work

Skills Required for the Graduate Broadcast Support Technician:

  • HND or Degree in Broadcast/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong interest in broadcast and live event support
  • Broadcast and production technology knowledge
  • Understanding of IP technologies
  • Strong communication skills
